At NSA, volunteers play a vital role in supporting children with neurodiverse needs and contributing toward creating inclusive learning environments. By volunteering with us, you become part of a mission that empowers children, families, and schools across Ghana.
Our volunteers support classroom activities, assist shadow teachers, help with events, contribute to resource development, and participate in community outreach programs. Whether you are a student, professional, or someone passionate about inclusion, your time and skills can make a meaningful impact.

Volunteer With Us
We welcome individuals who are:
- Passionate about children, learning, and inclusion
- Students or graduates in education, psychology, social work, nursing, early childhood, or related fields
- Professionals looking to give back or gain experience in special needs education
- People willing to support children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and learning disabilities
- Individuals who are committed, respectful, and eager to learn
Prior experience is an advantage but not required. Training and guidance will be provided.
Volunteer Requirements
To volunteer with NSA, individuals must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Complete the volunteer application form
- Attend an orientation session before placement
- Commit to a minimum of 10–30 hours per week
- Be willing to undergo basic training on working with neurodiverse children
- Demonstrate good communication, empathy, and patience
