April is here, and at Nature’s Sprout Academy, we are ready to celebrate Autism Awareness Month! This special occasion reminds us of the beauty of neurodiversity and the importance of promoting inclusion and acceptance within our community. Here is what to look forward to this month:

 A Message from our Founder

At Nature’s Sprout Academy, we believe that every child is unique, talented, and full of potential. As we mark World Autism Awareness Month, let’s work together to celebrate and support individuals on the autism spectrum, fostering environments where everyone can thrive.

 Exciting Events for the Month

• Wear Blue Day: 

Our team and the world on Wednesday April 2nd, 2025 will participate in the wear blue day, we encourage everyone to wear blue in solidarity with the global ‘Light it Up Blue’ campaign for autism awareness.

• Art for Inclusion Exhibition:

April 2nd, 2025, our talented students will be working on art projects that express their

creativity and individuality. The  art work produced will later be framed and  auctioned and sold  to raise funds to promote more awareness and education engagement in lower income communities

• Community Walk for Awareness and Inclusion :

Let’s step forward together! You are invited to the premier edition of our community walk, on Saturday  April 26th , 2025 at 6;30 am to raise awareness and inclusion. This walk is a symbolism of our collective commitment to changing hurtful stereotypes and encouraging public awareness , acceptance to eventually drive policy change on autism awareness.

Support us by showing up physically , or sponsoring our walk by call or text (+233 59 724 9700). (Proceeds from this initiative goes to  NSF, a foundation dedicated to investing in early intervention programs, educational scholarships, educational resources, and community awareness campaigns).

• Spotlight: Inspiring Stories from Our Students:

All throughout this month, we will feature stories of perseverance, achievement, and creativity from our amazing students. Stay tuned for these heartwarming tales!

• Live with NSA :

In partnership with the pediatrician society of Ghana, Join us on 22nd of April for an informative session led by experts where we  discuss ways to support and empower children with autism.

• Resources & Tips:

Explore resources, articles, and tips on how to support individuals with autism and promote inclusion in everyday life. These will be shared weekly on our social media platforms every month.

Together, we can make a difference and create a world where everyone feels valued and included.
